Amy Grant in Concert!!!
I just got back from Amy Grant and she was awesome. They had camera nazis there though so I had to sneak pictures. The lady thought I had a cell phone and I told her it was a camera and she said no flash photography. SO I said "As soon as you get everyone else to stop taking pictures.... (motioning to others)... I will stop." They were alll over the place trying to get people to stop, but it never happened. So I didn't get that great of pictures because I used my camera with no flash... but she did great. The thing that was so hilarious was every song she switches guitars... she kept forgetting to plug it in... so she goes "I don't think I have sound on this..." then she goes "Oh, plug it in Amy that might help." So she did it two more times... the fourth time we all screamed "PLUG IT IN!" She loved it. Then she never sang my favorite song, she was about to leave and I screamed "LEAD ME ON!" And they started laughing and said "Really" and the crowd said "YEAH!" But the keyboardist didn't have the chord chart with him... they almost played it, but this was the first concert of the summer they have had. She sang a lot of new songs on her upcoming CD which the songs were incredible. She told lots of stories about her music, then my favorite was the one about a background singer finding her birth mother and birth father... and Ive always wanted to meet my birth father, and this song made me cry... my mom is sitting there like "WHUUUT"! But we had fun... It was a great concert benefit and I loved it all... Amy is my true hero, then Ellen! Here are some crappy pics... sorry, had to hide from camera nazi lady!
